  • If your health insurance covers acupuncture, we can print a super bill for your treatments and your provider will reimburse you directly. 

  • For the initial visit, we'll discuss your history and health goals and answer any questions you may have. We’ll go through some common diagnostic practices, such as tongue and pulse diagnosis. We’ll then discuss my assessment and give you a detailed explanation of what is going on from both a Western and Chinese medicine point of view, followed by a specific treatment plan to address your needs.

  • Generally speaking, acupuncture usually involves a series a treatments. Often, more acute issues may resolve themselves after only one or two visits, while chronic problem may require regular visits. It really depends on the individual and the situation. Treatments are normally done about once or twice per week. 

  • No, this medicine does not work that way. The goal is to get your body functioning at its best and to give you all the tools I can for you to keep it that way. Once things improve, treatment can begin to taper off.
